Writing about our selves should be an easy task because we are writing just ourselves and hopefully we know who we are. However, it can be one of the hardest things, especially for me. I knew what I wanted to convey yet I couldn't execute as I had hoped.
The easiest part of the project was writing about the people who are important in my life. My family has always been at the top of my list. As a family, we have gone through a lot that has made us a very close and strong. Although I had a hard time expressing how amazing they are I was able to get the main idea. As an individual, I am not a very open person who shares a lot with people. I'm a very reserved person yet I was very comfortable talking about the positive. Throughout the years I have become comfortable talking to the public and people around me. I received critique from my fellow peers who thought I could have displayed my poster. I had been reading from my poster and my peers didn't get to see my poster long enough. I now know that when I present a poster I should also show my poster. The warm feedback was that I was clear and projected my voice. I was able to critique several of my peers. I'd like to think that I did provide helpful feedback. One of my classmates didn't include pictures and I was able to kindly remind them that it would make the poster more visual. In class, I was able to focus and use my time efficiently. I was able to finish writing all of the different sections. Mrs. Howard had scissors with designs that we were able to use and I used them to cut the paper. It added another element to my poster that it made it stand out. |
